Aayirathil Oruvan is the Tamil language action adventure film starring Karthi, Andrea Jeremiah, Reema Sen and Parthiepan in the lead roles. The movie is s inspired loosely by the historical decline of the Tamil Chola dynasty and the rise of the Tamil Pandya dynasty. G.V. Prakashkumar has composed music for the movie in which Dhanush has sung a song “Un mela Aasathan”. R. Ravindran has produced the film Aayirathil Oruvan under the banner Dream Valley Corporation.

Aayirathil Oruvan Story Plot
The story of Aayirathil Oruvan revolves around three people whose journey is to find out Chandramouli (Prathap K. Pothen), father of Andrea in this movie, an archeologist. He went to Vietnam in order to find the existence of Prince of Chola Dynasty. After a long time, Parthipan has given his dance performance in this movie. Reema Sen and Andrea Jeremiah also played their well and reached more audience. The film got more good response from the audience and also some critics.
Selvaraghavan has planned to make the sequel of Aayirathil Oruvan with Dhanush as lead. However, the offficial announcement has not yet revealed.
