New Delhi: The Union Finance Ministry has informed that the GST collection in June was Rs 1,44,616 crore. This is 56 percent higher than the Rs 92,800 crore collected in June last year (2021).
This is the 5th time since the introduction of GST that the collection has crossed 1.40 lakh crore. GST collection has crossed Rs 1.40 lakh crore for the 4th time in a row since last March.

IGST Rs 75,887 crore (including Rs 40,102 crore from
import of goods) Cess Rs 11,018 crore (Rs 1,197 crore from import of goods ) including crores).
June’s collection was the largest since April, when it collected Rs 1,67,540 crore. 1.41 lakh crore last May. According to the Finance Ministry, the GST collection has gone up due to economic growth and cracking down on bogus bill makers.
