Heinz, the famous ketchup maker, has announced a new limited edition sauce that is inspired by the rumored romance between pop star Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce. The sauce, called “Ketchup and Seemingly Ranch”, is a blend of ketchup and ranch dressing, which Swift was seen eating with chicken tenders at Kelce’s game on Sunday.

How the sauce came to be

The sauce was created after a Swift fan account on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, posted a photo of Swift’s meal at the Kansas City Chiefs game, where she cheered for Kelce. The photo showed a platter of chicken tenders with ketchup and a condiment that looked like ranch dressing, which the fan account described as “seemingly ranch”.

Heinz, which is the official condiment supplier of Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, decided to join in on the fun and create a sauce that combines the two flavors. Heinz announced the sauce on its Instagram account on Wednesday, saying “It’s a new Era for Heinz. Introducing Ketchup and Seemingly Ranch. Limited-edition bottles coming soon.”

How to get the sauce

According to Heinz, there will only be 100 bottles of the Swift-inspired sauce available, and fans will have a chance to score one soon via its Instagram account. Heinz did not reveal any more details about the release date or the price of the sauce, but it did say that the number of bottles was the sum of Swift’s favorite number, 13, and Kelce’s jersey number, 87.

Heinz launches a new sauce inspired

The sauce is not entirely new, as Heinz has been selling “Kranch” sauce, a mixture of ketchup and ranch, since 2019. However, the Swift version comes with a custom label that features a photo of Swift and Kelce and the words “Ketchup and Seemingly Ranch”.

How the fans reacted

The sauce has generated a lot of buzz among Swifties and Kelce fans, who have been speculating about the possible relationship between the two celebrities. Swift and Kelce have not confirmed or denied the rumors, but they have been seen together several times in the past few weeks.

The sauce has also been a hit for retailers, as Fanatics, the NFL’s official e-commerce partner, reported a “nearly 400% spike” in Kelce merchandise sales on Monday, according to TMZ. Some fans have also expressed their interest in trying the sauce, while others have joked about its name and taste.
