Honor, the former sub-brand of Huawei, has launched its latest foldable smartphone, the Honor Magic V2, in the global market. The device boasts of being the world’s slimmest and lightest foldable phone, with a thickness of just 4.7mm when unfolded and a weight of only 231g. The Honor Magic V2 also features a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a large 5000mAh battery, and a versatile triple camera setup.

Honor Magic V2 Design: Sleek and Smooth

The Honor Magic V2 has a sleek and smooth design that makes it stand out from other foldable phones in the market. The device has a 6.43-inch OLED cover screen with a resolution of 2376 x 1060 pixels, and a 7.92-inch OLED inner screen with a resolution of 2344 x 2156 pixels. The device also has a durable and scratch-resistant glass back, with a rectangular camera module on the top left corner.

The Honor Magic V2 comes in two color options: Black and White. The device also has stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer.

The Honor Magic V2 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is the latest flagship processor from Qualcomm. The chipset offers improved performance, efficiency, and connectivity over its predecessor, the Snapdragon 888. The chipset also supports 5G networks, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.

Honor Magic V2 Price and Availability: Competitive and Confirmed

Honor has confirmed that the Honor Magic V2 will be available in multiple markets outside China, unlike the Huawei Mate X60 series that will be confined to their home country. The device will launch in select European markets such as Germany, Italy, Spain, Ireland, and the UK in early next year. The device will also launch in some Latin American markets later on.

Honor has not revealed the pricing of the Honor Magic V2 for the global market yet.
