Huawei launches its first ultra-premium smartphone under the new Ultimate Design brand
Huawei, the global technology giant, has recently unveiled the Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design, the first ultra-premium smartphone product under the new Ultimate Design brand. This phone is all about its aesthetics and upgraded specifications, and it is the successor of the Mate 50 RS Porsche Design that was launched last year.
The Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design carries forward the DNA of the past Mate RS devices, with a concentric design of central axis symmetry. The rear camera has a star diamond octagon shape, and the entire rear outlook shows a perfect combination of ceramics and metal all across the smartphone. The phone is available in two color options – Black and Red, with each of them rendering a new look with the light’s contact. It is revealed that the rear panel took 60 days to manufacture and bring in those shiny colors on top of the phone.
Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design offers top-notch features and performance

The phone sports a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2772 x 1344 pixels. The display is protected by the second-generation Kunlun glass, which provides a 300% increase in scratch resistance and a 100% increase in drop resistance.
The phone is powered by the Kirin 9000s chipset, which is a slightly downgraded version of the Kirin 9000 that powers the Mate 60 Pro series. The phone comes with 16GB of RAM and either 512GB or 1TB of internal storage. The phone runs on HarmonyOS 4 operating system, which is optimized with the Ark Engine for smoother animations and faster app launch speed.

Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design is the first phone to support satellite calling

This feature is especially useful for people who travel to remote areas or face network issues.
The phone also offers exclusive free one-year privileges for Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design owners who apply for a Huawei card. These include VIP lounge service at airports and train stations, flight delay insurance, lawyer consultation, and equestrian lessons among others. Huawei is also selling exclusive Star Diamond protective cases in black and red, which cover the front and back of the Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design.
