About the film, Bhoomi marks the third collaboration of Director Lakshman and Jayam Ravi after Romeo Juliet and Bogan. The movie is being produced by Sujatha Vijayakumar and music scored by D.Imman. The teaser for the movie is also released and songs from the movie has shared online already in which songs titled “Vande mataram” and “Tamilan endru sollada” scored many likes.

Jayam Ravi playing as a Farmer in the movie with Nidhhi Agerwal in leading role. Alongwith Thambi Ramaiah, Saranya Ponvannan, Radha Ravi, Sathish. Ronit Roy making his tamil debuts with this project and plays the Antagonist. Bhoomi as the name sounds, the movie deals with the topic of Agriculture and Pollution.
Bhoomi was supposed to be released on May 2020, but delayed after the government imposed complete lockdown due to COVID -19.Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi is all set to feature in two other films “Jana Gana Mana” and ManiRatnam’s “Ponniyin Selvan”, a historical drama movie which will be staring Vikram, karthi and Jayam Ravi in the lead roles.
